Terms of Service
Last updated:
The terms for browsing qrks.ai and how they relate to our services.
About these terms
These terms cover your use of the public qrks.ai website and its product information. The website is operated by qrks.ai ("we", "us" or "our"). You can contact us at hello@qrks.ai.
Using the hosted application or commissioning a standalone deployment may involve additional terms agreed when you sign up or enter an engagement. A separate written agreement governs its specific service scope, fees, support and data-processing arrangements. These website terms do not replace that agreement.
What qrks.ai provides
The hosted product helps users describe, build and publish websites with AI assistance. The standalone offering brings conversational editing into a customer’s existing codebase and infrastructure, with the scope agreed for that deployment.
Product pages describe the available offering and may also discuss planned features. Check the capabilities and limits of the service you select before relying on it. Illustrations, example sites and demonstrations are for explanation and are not a commitment to a particular outcome.
Acceptable use
You must use the website lawfully and respect other people’s rights. In particular, you must not:
- Use it to distribute malware, conduct phishing or fraud, or facilitate unlawful activity.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems or data without permission.
- Interfere with the website’s operation or deliberately overload its infrastructure.
- Submit material that infringes intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights.
- Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your authority to act for a business.
If you act on behalf of an organisation, you are responsible for having authority to make requests and enter any resulting agreement.
AI output and publishing decisions
AI-generated text, code and designs can contain errors, omissions or material similar to other output. Build checks do not establish that a website is accurate, secure, accessible or legally suitable for every purpose.
When using a qrks.ai service, review your brief, content and proposed changes before approving publication. You are responsible for the information you supply, the rights needed to use it, and the notices or permissions required for your published website. Do not include passwords, private keys or unnecessary personal data in project descriptions.
Any service-specific approval process, testing commitments or support obligations are those set out in the applicable service agreement.
Content and intellectual property
The qrks.ai name, website design and our original website materials belong to us or our licensors. You may view and share links to these pages. Other uses must respect the applicable intellectual-property rights and any stated licences.
You retain your rights in material you send us. Sending an enquiry does not transfer ownership of your code, brand or business content. You give us permission to use the material in that enquiry as needed to review and respond to it.
Rights in generated deliverables, access to repositories and any licence to standalone software are governed by the relevant service agreement. Third-party software, templates, fonts and other assets remain subject to their own licences. AI output is not guaranteed to be unique or eligible for exclusive rights.
Fees, scope and cancellation
Browsing this public website does not create a paid engagement. For paid services, the applicable price, currency, taxes, scope, payment schedule and any renewal terms must be set out in the offer or agreement you accept.
Changes to an agreed engagement, cancellation arrangements and any refunds are governed by that agreement and applicable law. Contact hello@qrks.ai with a question about an offer or an existing engagement. Nothing here removes statutory cancellation or refund rights.
Third-party services and availability
The website links to other services and relies on third-party infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms, availability limits and charges. In a standalone deployment, responsibilities for hosting, model providers, credentials and deployment pipelines should be set out in the agreed scope.
We aim to keep these pages accurate and available, but they may be interrupted, updated or withdrawn. Information on this website is general product information, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service or a service-level agreement.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains the public website’s analytics, browser storage, external providers and handling of enquiries. You can change your analytics cookie choice through cookie settings in the footer. Agreeing to these terms does not grant consent to analytics cookies.
Responsibility and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the public website and its general information are provided without a promise that they will be error-free or suitable for every intended use. Any warranties, remedies or liability terms for a paid service are addressed in the relevant service agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Questions, disputes and changes
Please first contact hello@qrks.ai with a concern so we can try to resolve it. A service agreement may set out the law and dispute process for that engagement; mandatory rules about your legal rights and access to courts continue to apply.
We may update these website terms as the website or offering changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Changes to these website terms do not automatically amend an existing service agreement.
